Being Challenge: Week 6

August 16, 2026

In the final week of the Being Challenge, Toby Young explores the last habit: Choosing Church. Church is more than a building we attend on Sunday. It’s a community of believers gathering around the good news of Jesus, encouraging one another, serving together, and inviting others to experience that same hope. As we finish the Being Challenge, we’re reminded that following Jesus isn’t meant to be done alone. We each have a role to play in His Church.

Being Challenge: Week 5

August 9, 2026

Join Toby Young for this week’s Being Challenge as we look at the practice of seeking solitude. Jesus regularly stepped away from the noise, crowds, and demands around Him to spend intentional time alone with His Father. In this session, Toby explores the difference between being busy and being hurried, the distractions that compete for our attention, and how solitude can help us refocus on Jesus. This week’s challenge: unplug, slow down, and intentionally make room to be alone with God.

Being Challenge: Week 2

July 19, 2026

In Week 2 of the Being Challenge, DCE Toby Young explores the first habit Jesus modeled: Commit to Community.

Through the story of the paralyzed man in Mark 2, we see the power of friends who carry one another, refuse to give up, and ultimately bring people closer to Jesus. Toby challenges us to examine the people surrounding us, build relationships rooted in faith, and find someone who can walk through this journey with us.
