Shine On 2026
Saturday, April 11th, 2026
“Shine On” is a one day event that provides an opportunity for individuals to come together and shine the light of Christ by serving others in our community, while having fun and growing in our relationships.
We will meet at the church at 8:00 a.m. for check-in, breakfast, and an opening worship and devotion. From there, we will break up into our groups and head to our volunteer locations. A box lunch will be provided for you to take to your assigned site. We can’t wait to serve alongside you!
Please wear a Holy Trinity shirt if you have one. If you don’t check in with the church office to grab one!
Site Descriptions:
- Sleep In Heavenly Peace (12 spots available, 12 & older): This group of volunteers will be building and assembly bunk beds for children who are in need and do not have a proper bed at home. This site is at the Church Mission House to help assemble beds- including sanding, assembling, and staining bed frames.
- Hope Center Edmond (20 spots available): This group will work from 10 AM to 12 PM and will receive donations at the door, inspect and sort donations, and restock pantry items.
- Beautiful Restoration (12 spots available)
- Onsite Volunteer Opportunity: Blessing Bag Ministry & Cards for Veterans (12 spots available): This group of volunteers will remain on campus and assemble busy bags for the homeless and write letters to veterans in hospice care through Veterans Last Patrol.
- Habitat for Humanity (15 spots, 16 & older) *This group has extended hours. Serving until possibly 3 pm: This group will be sent to a construction site in Yukon to assist with windows and doors.
- Little Light Christian School (8 spots): *This group has extended hours. Serving until possibly 3 PM) Little Light Christian School gives children with incarcerated parents the opportunity to attend a Christian school. Outdoor projects include tree trimming and leaf removal.
