“Arise, Shine!” These are the first two words of the Isaiah 60, marking the beginning of the season of Epiphany. The Epiphany Season is all about how the person and love of God is made known through Jesus Christ, as He began His ministry. Arise, Shine! God still makes Himself known to us today. Arise, Shine! A new year has begun—and by the grace of God, we can leave behind the darkness of our past. Arise, Shine! It’s a new day for you and me—God is shining His Light and Love upon us, for we stand forgiven and renewed! And to all the world, we shine the Light of Christ, making disciples of all nations, and our message is “Arise, Shine!”
